Visit to the Sweatsville Zoo

December 24, 2007

I had some time to color correct some photos I took this summer at the Sweatsville Zoo. This attraction is a unique sculpture garden of creatures made out of scrap metal near Fort Collins. I have been playing around with some techniques I learned at a Photoshop CS3 Power Tour seminar that I attended in […]

Stick figure in peril at Harvard

November 9, 2007

I saw this sign in a window yesterday when walking around at Harvard. It reminded my colleague and I of a Flickr group called “Stick Figures in Peril.” We had seen pictures of the group in Cameron Moll’s seminar at User Interface 12. I had to take a picture of this sign and add it […]

My Pictures of Budapest included in Travel Guide

October 8, 2007

A couple of months ago, I was contacted by Schmap.com about a couple of my Flickr pictures. Skippy

June 17, 2007

I met “Skippy” at the Kansas City Zoo. Their exhibit gives a lot of freedom for the animals to roam around their enclosure and puts you right in the middle of it. This is the closest I have ever been to a kangaroo. See more pictures from my day at the Zoo on Flickr.

A Little Lonely??

January 3, 2007

A Rose By Any Other Name …

August 12, 2006

I enjoy photography. I find that I think more about taking pictures or how to capture something as I am living life. My wife bought herself these flowers (I wish I could say I did it) and I thought they would make a good subject to try some photos. You can see my favorites of […]

Bald Eagles

November 1, 2005

One of the things I enjoy is seeing bald eagles in Florida. I only see them on occasion so it is always a treat when I see one. This morning I had my camera so I stopped on my way to work to try to get a picture. I saw at least 5 eagles. There were […]
