Week of February 23–March 1
- I had a couple of interviews for both contract and full-time work this week. Both were encouraging and I hope to hear back this week.
- I started writing an article about my WordPress-to-Craft personal project that I started in December. I hope to finish it up and publish it early this coming week.
- I continued working on my Memory Keeper personal project. I added functionality to open up larger version of images that are in galleries. The larger image opens up in a
<dialog>
. I also continued to add content to the project. - I forgot about the axe-con online conference last week. I will have to make some time to catch up on the videos in the near future. They always have some great talks on accessibility.
Toe Dipping into view transitions
I spent some time “toe-dipping” into view transitions thanks to Geoff Graham’s article on CSS Tricks. I implemented a similar solution to his WordPress solution and now have transitions on my page title going from a grid listing of articles to a specific article. I had already implemented the most simpliest animation between pages: @view-transition { navigation: auto; }
earlier this year. It is great how little code you need add transitions to make your site just a little bit slicker.
