Throwback Friday – PopPhoto.com

A redesign for Popular Photography (PopPhoto.com) was my first major project with the Bonnier Corporation. The project launched thirteen years ago today (March 15, 2011). The site was built in Drupal and I worked with 2 remote developers, Dave Myburgh and Cody Craven.

My team of developers were called “themers” which seemed appropriate because our role was mainly to write CSS. Cody and Dave built the Drupal templates and supplied the content. They would modify the HTML as I needed it. I communicated with them mostly through AIM.

This project is one of 16 projects that I showcase on the wall of my home office. I created this project grid a couple of years ago and each project represents a project that I am proud of and represents different milestones along my development career.
