Penguins on Parade

This week, I am in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am in the area visiting with people who support our ministry with Campus Crusade for Christ. It has been great to see people again and I have enjoyed being back in Tulsa. My wife and I lived here for 1 1/2 years when we first got married.

As I have been driving around, I wish I had my digital camera. The other day, I started noticing penguins everywhere. They were all painted something different. I have seen several other cities do something similar including Lawrence, Kansas where I went to college. In Lawrence, they have Jayhawks on Parade. In Tulsa, it is penguins.

Sure enough, someone had a picture of one of the penguins on Flickr. I did not see this particular one. One that I saw that I really liked was a patriotic penguin of red, white and blue.
