At just 24 years of age and just two full seasons as a starting quarterback, Patrick Mahomes is the youngest quarterback to win Super Bowl MVP. His fourth quarter heroics led the Kansas City Chiefs to their first Super Bowl win in 50 years.
Patrick is quickly becoming the new face of the NFL. He has endured himself to the fans through his relatability.
“I want people to know how relatable I am and how I’ve been the same person that I’ve been my entire life. But at the same time, I feel like I’m still growing in everything that I’m doing. Every single year I feel like I have a better knowledge of not only the game, but how I want to be perceived off the field.”
And how does Mahomes want to be perceived away from the NFL?
“Someone that anyone can come up and talk to. Someone that loves the sport that he plays and the people that he’s around. I’ve had the same friends since the third grade, the same girlfriend I’ve had since I was a sophomore in high school,” he said.
