Jeff's Story

Independence, Missouri was where I grew up. I participated in a variety of sports growing up, with baseball and soccer being my favorites. I also enjoyed going to Kansas City Royals' baseball games during the summer.

During my freshmen year of college, I heard the gospel explained for the first time by a Campus Crusade staff member. Several weeks later, I put my trust in Jesus and began to grow in my faith through my involvement with Campus Crusade's ministry.

I spent two of my summers on short term mission projects with Campus Crusade. One was in San Diego and the other in the country of Hungary. I enjoyed being part of God's working in the lives of other people. As I continued to grow in my relationship with the Lord, my desire was invest my life in helping others come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.

I graduated from KU in 1993 and joined the staff of Campus Crusade that summer.
