Hoola Monsters is a hoop dance group out of St. Petersburg, Florida. They wanted a new look to showcase their performances, custom monster-sized hoops for sale, and the various classes they offer.

Working with the principal of Big Sea, we decided that a distressed visual look would best represent the Hoola Monster brand. I worked with their existing color palette of pink, green, and purple to create a new visual look. I chose a grunge style typeface from FontSquirrel.com and implemented it using @font-face. The client was also fond of swirl type ornaments which I incorporated into the design.

I was responsible for the overall visual design and typography choices. The principal of Big Sea then created secondary page layouts and graphic elements to extend the theme that I had created.
